Case Study: How an Alexander Teacher Bought a Farm

People can get a little dreamy when they imagine their business doing well. Being that I hear from heart-centered folks, the dreams aren’t about fancy cars or big mansions.

The dreams tend to be more about a more livable, lovable life. Dreams like having a beautiful place to live that is a refuge for them, including their own studio space for their work. Or like not having to work so much so they can really spend time with their kids before they are all grown up. And being able to contribute to others, to really get to do what they are here to do.

I picked those dreams in particular because one of the past participants in Opening the Moneyflow had those dreams and achieved them. No, she’s not a millionaire. Yes, she did more than double her revenue without working a million hours.

She also bought a farm with a separate studio for her work. And has enjoyed a consistency in her business that brings peace to her heart.

Take a look at this case study, it’s quite in-depth. There’s a video interview I did with her, or you can listen audio-only. Or you can read the transcript, which is divided into sections by topic.

moneyflow-200x91And about that Opening the Moneyflow program

Emma is a smart, capable practitioner, and yet she dabbled in her profession for a decade, never dreaming she could actually make a good living at it.

When she plunged in and really put the same kind of intention and learning into her business that she had into her craft, she found that her business could work, and work really, really well.

Whether you’ve been at what you do for ten years or ten months, you don’t have to dabble for so long if you don’t want to. Please give yourself and the world the gift of getting the support you need to make your business fly.

Maybe that support is Opening the Moneyflow? Take a look at the program, and if your heart resonates, or is even just thinking “maybe… maybe this is it?” fill out an application and let’s talk.

  1. Oh Mark! I am so grateful for the opportunity to watch this again.

A year+ since that interview I see how much more I have learned – and how I still need more Structure to build from! Do you have a wise recommendation for me?!

Thank you for letting this be of service to others yet again – I awoke to two e-mails thanking me for my presence, truth and vulnerability. I hope this leads many others to do the same with their work and lives in this beautiful world of ours.

Deep gratitude to you and your work,
    Emma xo

  2. What an amazing interview! I loved it!
Emma is an extraordinary lady. So authentic and so radiant.
It reminded me of the Heart of Money course I did with you Mark. I wasn’t such a good student like Emma, but I still gained a big inner transformation that allowed me to be more authentic and more confident and attract clients more easily. So thank you for that and thanks for sharing this video, I’m glad I took the time to watch it ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. This interview reminded me that hard work looks many ways and may take more time than you expect. As Emma said there is internal and external work, and often it is painful. Heart of Business is a daily companion of mine. I listen to my recordings over and over again – I thought that I was the only one who leaned in this way. Thank you Emma for sharing your humanity and Mark for starting this business.

My business is still not profitable but my journey continues. To be there for my clients to lean in to I need Divine qualities and I continue to deepen my Remembrance practice and share it.

I hope to be sharing from the ‘other side’ some day soon.

  4. It is beautiful for me to read this, Mary. Thank you for your perspective.

All too often in our culture we seem to get hung-up on “there” and what the work needs to be done in order to arrive “there”. I personally love how Mark encourages us to pay attention during each little step in the journey and to know that “there is Love even here”.

Being here now is success in itself ๐Ÿ˜‰ (But as you know from watching the video, sometimes I really do need to pay more attention to what the $$ are doing!!)

  5. absolutely LOVED this interview!!

took awhile because there were numerous techie glitches, at least on my computer… but eventually, i got to see and hear almost the entire interview.

excellent job, Mark and Emma!! i’m a practitioner-in-training right now… pretty focused on that. i’ve been your fan for awhile now, Mark. just didn’t have the heart-centered biz to go with it yet. soon, i will… and yours is the program i wanna join for building it.

BIG Hugs and Congrats to BOTH of you! Thanks for being there and sharing.
