You need to make a healthy profit if your business is going to make it, but profit isn’t your main motive. If you are like me you’ve probably struggled at some level with your business being about making a difference, but you still have to charge money for it.
Money makes trouble in almost everyone’s heart. One of the surprises in my career has been finding out that no matter how much money people make, a lot or a little, most of us still have issues with money. I’ve seen people who make a lot of money struggling with the same survival fears I felt when I didn’t know where the rent was coming from.
I want to see your business do well financially. But even more, I want to see your heart at ease around financial issues.
