A complete learning package on how to talk to potential clients with integrity and heart– and still get paid.
Starting this morning, Wednesday, about two dozen of us are spending a tremendously profound time together, working with the sales conversation. Here’s a true story from a previous year at this same seminar:
Without using words, she moved him several steps closer.
Two Seminar participants were performing an exercise in front of the class. One was playing the Business Owner, the other the Potential Client. All without words.
They were standing facing each other–and as the Business Owner followed the instructions, the Potential Client felt an internal urge to move closer, and took several steps forward.
“I just felt I could come closer.”
Then, as all the participants paired up and moved into the exercise themselves, I noticed people crying left and right. When we checked in later, folks said that it was so amazing to feel seen and understood so deeply.
As one participant said about her partner in the exercise, “I’d follow you anywhere–I can feel the trust.”
How many times when you talk to prospective clients are they reaching for tissues, and telling you things like “I’d follow you anywhere?”
Nothing but heart… and a little bit of structure.
True “selling” has nothing to do with manipulation–and everything to do with true heart connection and humility, held within a container of strength and focus.
The exercise above, remember, was done without any words at all. Do you need more clients to come closer and say “Yes”?
