I especially like the cat references and replies! But seriously - this is important and timely information. It does seem as if someone is pushing against you when they 'try' to reach out. Being open works wonders. And with cats, too.When mine realized I reacted 'no big deal' when they'd start to slide, they stopped trying to embed those claws into the closest thing - -namely me. Now they just kind of slide or roll, secure that I will either scoop them up or the floor is right there. Great great post! I especially like the cat references and replies!

WHAM in comes some clarity and sense courtesy of your good self. I feel much clearer now about the business of love and connection in a very practical way.
