Why it can be so hard to have a financial breakthrough.

Money brings up fears and reactions around trust, survival, self-worth and love. These survival-level fears hit you right in the guts. Our response is usually to become like a deer in headlights, or to relentlessly “push through” financial tasks. The result is that your relationship with money doesn’t change.

What’s worse is the isolating shame that often ends up complicating the mix of emotions. You “aren’t supposed” to be afraid (men and women both) and so you try to bluff your way through. Except it doesn’t work.

Surprisingly, these fears and reactions can be true whether you make five figures, six figures, or even seven figures a year. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, you worry and struggle with guilt and shame. “Where in the heck is all the money going?”

The solution. Break your isolation, and with the support of a group, look squarely at your issues around money. You will discover love, strength, and courage in never-imagined places, such as your checkbook and bank account!

There are four steps to a healthy relationship with money:

1. Inventory: An honest look at where you are now, without shame.
2. Understanding: There are some basic rules to how abundance flows. When you understand them, it’s like shining the light of clarity on your financial life.
3. Asking from true need: Mostly when we ask for help, we’re either trying to control what the help looks like, or we’re not open to receiving it. When you are in true need, your asking is sincere, and you get a response.
4. Safety: When you feel safe, it’s possible to feel generous, grateful and open, making it easier for money to flow in and out and in again.

When these four elements come together, you know the reality of your situation and accept it, you have a deep understanding of why it is the way it is, you understand what your true needs are, and you feel safe enough to effectively ask. Bingo! Suddenly you are making different decisions and taking different actions, and strangely enough, the results start changing, too…

I’ve been through the money washing-machine spin cycle myself. More times than I care to admit. It used to be no matter how much, or little, money I made, I still had that knot of fear in my belly: “Am I going to be okay? Is there enough?”

Why you can’t just earn your way out of the mess.

The classic response is, “Hey, I’ll just make more money, and then I’ll be okay.” And it’s a logical enough response, especially as a business owner. You learn what you need to learn, you market more effectively, you get better at sales and systems, and all the things that make your business run. Then . . .

• You start earning more money. Crazy. It actually works. Except that you find yourself spending even more, too, and your actual financial situation hasn’t changed at all, the numbers are just bigger.
  Or…
• You don’t start earning more money. Crazier. You’re putting all these great ideas into place, and they just aren’t working.

Either way, I’m betting that the same thing is happening–you’re getting better and better at giving, and yet because of a blind spot in your relationship with money, your finances are still circling the drain.

And that knot of fear never really went away. Ugh.

How the change finally happened for me.

A few years ago, after what felt like the millionth time through the money-panic spin cycle, I decided that enough was enough: it was time to learn about money! Slowly, step-by-step, I read books, received healings, went into deep prayer and meditation, and talked to people who made money.

Then, one morning, I realized I had changed.

It had been a month since I had gone into any panic over money, despite my financial situation remaining unchanged. Shortly after that my financial picture began to also shift, in a very pleasant upward manner.

Someone asked me to teach some spiritual students about money. That question sparked me to assemble everything that I had done, to see what had worked for me and what hadn’t. That’s how I put together the first prototype of this course.

I was on the call with you just now. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that you are leading Heart of Money Transformational Journey again. I would honestly go so far as to say that most people who come to you should probably be required to first take Money:Transformational Journey before taking the MoneyFlow class. FYI, not long after I took the Transformational Journey course, my husband and I had built in our back yard two little cottages for the Reiki Center. Each class will be recorded, and you will receive the recordings as mp3 files that you can download onto your computer.

You will be able to listen to the meditations, discussions and exercises as often as you need. And, if an emergency comes up, you won’t have missed the class. The recording quality is top notch- I’ve invested a hefty chunk of change in recording equipment so you can actually hear clearly what’s being said and discussed without straining through “fuzz n buzz.”

Plus, we always divide our audio up into tracks, with ID3 labels, which just means that you won’t have these big, honkin’ 90-minute audios, but instead a series of shorter 5-20 minute tracks that show up properly labelled when imported into iTunes.

Each class you’ll receive a pdf workbook, with the teaching and exercise fully explained. Some people process information well through listening, some people need to read it, and others need both.

Plus, sometimes you just want to go back and review, without having to work through the entire audio.
