Change Number One:
Three Different Versions.
People need different things, so we’re created different levels. One version is DIY with a bare-budget price. One version is in-depth small group work, no more than six people, with one of our practitioners. And one version is an intensive combination of individual one-on-one work and group work in a small group of no more than eight with me, Mark.
Change Number Two: Group Time is For Transformation and Learning
Instead of you having to sit through live lectures, we’re going to be offering the information content in a combination of recorded audio and PDFs. Group time won’t be lectures, it will be discussion, strategizing, healing, implementation. You can focus on the content you need, based on your individual study plan, and not just following along because “it’s on the syllabus.”

Your Personal Path in Business
Each person who joins will take a detailed assessment of their business, so we can create a personalized study plan with you. You won’t just follow a curriculum as part of a group. Instead we’ll take a look at where your business is, your strengths and weaknesses, your struggles and successes, and we’ll plot a plan for you to move forward.

#1 – Heart of Business Core Teachings
Sometimes you just need to know what to do and how to do it. We’re including the following courses, MP3 and PDF, for you to work with. If you bought them separately, you would spend over $1000:
The Foundational Intensive
It’s about an incredibly critical part of your business- the foundation. Including the part most people don’t talk about.
In this first section, we cover the foundations of any business: the core story and spiritual jewel. It solidifies and defines what the business is. The spiritual nature of this intensive means that you have a source of nourishment in your business, so you don’t become depleted.
The practical nature of the intensive means that you will finally have a super clear way to think about, talk about, and write about your business, so that others get it, and you can go into momentum.
We talk about it in terms of the Who-Who-What, who you’re helping and what you’re helping them with. Some folks refer to this as “target marketing” or “identifying your niche.” It’s that, but it’s more than that.
Here’s the part most people don’t talk about: identifying and stepping into a niche is an incredibly tender process. It might be the most important thing you ever do for your business. But because there are so many fears, worries and legitimate issues that rise up, most business owners need a lot of compassion and time to process it all before they land, ker-thunk, with something that they feel in their bones.

Website Content and Strategy
Does your website truly express who you are, what you do and does it also bring in business? It needs to.
You need a website, and yet why does it take so long to get one? Or if you already have one, is it truly working for your business?
It’s not the design that slows down your website going live or your business, it’s the content and strategy. I hear from many web designers that they are always waiting for their clients to just get them the copy so they can make the site live.

Powerful, effective content, content that might even go viral, is a critical piece to marketing these days. To learn more about this course, click here.
Whether you blog, send an ezine, or publish in a printed magazine, the written word is a powerful way to create momentum in your business. Understanding how to write a truly delicious article that is nourishing, helpful, but also zesty and attention-getting, is a must.
There are five distinct elements to putting together powerful content, plus the “secret sauce,” which includes a few writer’s tricks and techniques that help bring your content together in concise, effective ways.
There is no more powerful way to multiply your efforts and effects. The basics of story-telling that you’ll learn in this class will also translate to other media, such as audio and video, if you are venturing in that direction.
#2 – Personal Business Development Plan
You’ll take an assessment at the beginning of the course, and we’ll use that to develop a personal business development plan for you. This will help answer the question: “Ack! What do I do first! How to stop the overwhelm?!”
This self-inquiry process will lead you to learn which of the nine filters you live from, revealing blind spots and fixed personality patterns that keep us from experiencing deeper spiritual experiences. And in sharing what you learn, we, as teachers, will be able to further personalize your learning experience and best help you accomplish your goals.
This alone can totally change 2011 for you.
#3 – Private Community and Forum
Secure behind a password, your forum is a place to mastermind with the others in your group, get feedback from a facilitator if you’re in one of the small groups, and otherwise get support throughout the week.
Your postings will not be visible to anyone outside your section of the Moneyflow Course, so you don’t have to worry about sharing your vulnerabilities with the world. It’s a place you can just be messy and learn.
#4 – Spiritual Teaching Calls
All participants in all versions of the program are invited to join our monthly Spiritual Teaching calls. I teach every month on a topic of spiritual understand that has direct impact on your ability to move in the world. You will also have access to the past six months of recordings. The past topics I’ve covered:
- Receiving Guidance in Your Heart
- Accessing the Real Patience
- Steeping into Sovereignty and the Domain of Your Business
- Accessing Power
- Cleaning Up Mistakes
These calls are profound, and are not clouded with technical details of business. Participants credit these calls with helping them have a grounded, in-their-bones experience of owning their business and moving powerfully in the world. Others have said that these calls have radically changed their relationships to loved ones and others for the better.
Dates of the calls will be on the second Thursday of each month, 1-2:30 p.m. pacific, with two exceptions:

#5 – Participation in all Virtual Retreats
We will be holding at least two, potentially three Virtual Retreats during your six months, and as a Moneyflow participant there is no additional charge. In fact, we’ll be encouraging you to participate because it will help you so much.
What is a Virtual Retreat? It is a period of 24 hours set aside just for spending time in your heart, with the Divine, in spiritual practice, contemplation, quiet. You do this at home (or another location of your choosing), and you join the group for five teleconferences during the day. Three of the calls I lead spiritual practice, and two of the calls are for spiritual teaching and guidance in classic Sufi Q&A style.
I’ve been leading these Virtual Retreats for several years to great success. The huge benefit of them is that by taking the time to clear out all of the concerns of the world from your heart, you have more direct access to guidance, to love, to peace, and to clarity. Everything becomes easier, and breakthroughs are more apparent.
The dates of the Virtual Retreats are all Fridays: August 26, October 28, December 16.

Once per month as a DIY participant you will fill out a check-in on how you are doing, describing progress on your personal business development plan, challenges, successes, and anything you want looked at.
You will receive written feedback on your check-in, with answers, things to think about and where to focus on. If you have writing you’ve done, for instance a website or sales copy, you’ll get my impressions and 1-3 things you can work on to improve it.
These check-ins will be due prior to the monthly Q&A calls, so that you can ask follow-up questions on the live call.
One group Q&A/coaching call a month facilitated by Mark
You may be jaded from other Q&A calls, where the facilitator shows up without any other preparation and says, “Okay, who has a question?” This is not that.
Because of the written check-ins you will do every month, I will be up on what you are doing, and will have already responded to your check-in in writing. This Q&A/coaching is really to dig more deeply into what you are doing as a follow-up, and continuing the conversation from the written check-in. Every month a ninety-minute Q&A call will be held just for the DIY participants. Any questions, struggles, challenges, or feedback you’re wanting can be brought to the team.

Recordings of All Group Meetings
All group meetings will be recorded and added to a private library of downloads for your group. Although you won’t want to miss any of the meetings, in six months it might be that missing a session or two is unavoidable due to illness or family need, and so you’ll have access to the recordings.
A Study Plan Consultation
In July, before your first meeting as a small group, you’ll meet individually with your small group practitioner for thirty minutes to turn the results of your business assessment into a truly personal study and business development plan for the next six months.
Two More Individual Sessions
After the study plan consultation, you’ll have an additional individual, one-on-one session with your facilitator in the first part of September, and then again in the second part of November, in place of group meetings. You’ll be able to go deeper into what you personally need, and have the time and space to really dig in.
Meet Your Facilitators
Jason Stein and Yollana Shore are both members of the Heart of Business team. When you apply for The Core you will be asked about your facilitator and group time preferences, so let’s introduce you to both of them.
The Scoop on Jason Stein
As a young child I experienced the empowerment of entrepreneurship at age 8. My step dad supported me along with my brother and two sisters to launch a dry cleaning company. We weren’t old enough to operate all the heavy machinery, so we outsourced the work to a neighborhood company and made a healthy profit. I was hooked. That original experience taught me about leadership, teamwork, and the art of small business.
And yes, I was the kid who would buy lollipops in bulk and then sell them at a premium in school.
I was on my way to graduate school in Business Psychology when I took a left turn. I had struggled with health challenges and after years of medication and invasive procedures, I saw an acupuncturist. After just a few weeks of acupuncture and herbs my health had fully recovered and I embarked on a journey of understanding the mysteries of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I added to my psychology degree with a Masters of Oriental Medicine and became a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and started the first integrated medical clinic in a hospital setting in the State of New Mexico.
I loved the medicine, but all my clients shared they were becoming ill from the place they spent most there time. WORK!
I journeyed back to school in chaplaincy training specializing in spirituality in the workplace and completed professional coaching certification training. I was committed to helping people find peace in their working environment. I created the Meditation in the Workplace CD and training program and have presented at Providence Health Systems, NW Natural Gas, Wired.MD, and many other companies in the Pacific northwest.
In 2007, I became the Chair of Professional Development at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine where I am a full time faculty and teach business and communication skills to over 200 students a year. I also am currently investigating website effectiveness in attracting new clients and patients.
Over the past 10 years I have helped over 1000 business owners find clarity in the chaos of business. I have a special knack for helping people to make requests of others. This has included creating a strategic alliance that created $8,000 more in revenue, raising prices and forming groups which helped to triple profits, and following up one conversation that led to a check for $10,000.
I am also an adventure seeker and have been found skydiving, running with bulls, swimming with dolphins, and dogsledding. However the biggest adventure I’ve encountered is raising my two children who keep me humble and teach me new lessons all the time.

Hi, I’m Yollana.

But when I say ‘success’, let me be clear about that – For over ten years I’ve been seeking, studying and applying business and marketing strategies that are aligned with my heart, soul and the deeper values in life. And more than that, as a mother of two gorgeous children, wife to my beloved, and an active member in my local and global/virtual community, I’m clear that successful business needs to embrace my femininity, to make space for rest and play, to support my good health and my relationships with my family and community.

A balance like this is not found through a formula. It’s a personal journey. And my role at Heart of Business is to partner you on that journey to your own personal business success. I’ve been working with Heart of Business in this way since 2009. And I bring a lifetime of working with groups and over ten years of experience as a healer and coach, to support you – whether you are looking at working with me one on one, or in a group.
Healing and Coaching
Since 2001 I have been accredited in a healing modality called The Journey, with bestselling author and mind-body healing expert Brandon Bays. My training encompassed Neuro-Linguistic Programming, The Enneagram, voice dialogue, emotional release, meditation and prayer, self enquiry, abundance work and visioning, belief-change work, sabotage clearing and more.
This work has been a profound gift to me as a business coach. If you find yourself stuck, blocked and unable to move forward in your business, I have a lot of compassion for you. And I have some powerful tools to help you move through them.
I also have a bunch of practical tools. It’s important to me that your business can lean into a solid strategy that feels right for you. When we work one on one, we get down to the details of your business, we look at money, marketing, sales, website, writing, defining and launching your offers, time management, social media and more… I can help you find the right balance of structure and flow. (And if you’re fresh in your business, I can also help you get a much more solid feel for what it is that you’re actually doing, who it’s for and how it’s gonna unfold over the coming months and the next few years).
Oh yeah, and I’m fairly tech-savvy. I’m nifty with wordpress and mailchimp and the big three social media tools – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and a bunch of other applications that can make your business life easier or more effective.
Working with Groups
In case you’re wondering, I was practically born into group work. As a child I watched the workshop groups coming through our community house – healing, yoga, psychodrama, clowning, etc. I attended my first community conference and workshops at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland at age 15. I’ve run workshops, held women’s circles, facilitated community events and supported workshops with over 500 people. Teaching comes easily to me – even in high school I loved public speaking (and was voted school captain). Thankfully my experience and training as a therapist has also taught me the power of deep listening too!
I just thought you should know, Yollana is an absolute freaking genius. Okay, you probably already know that. But seriously, this woman has a gift. We had the most amazing call last night, that was utterly transformational for me and I think all of us. Some real, deep healing took place. And somehow the call also covered everyone’s business needs, managed some conflict we’ve been having as a group, and included no small amount of laughter as well.
Here’s the thing: she’s completely honest from an always compassionate place, and not afraid of anyone’s heart or anyone’s feelings. She manages the group time really well, and she’s extremely talented at listening to all the threads from everyone, and bringing them together into a deeper place that gets right at the heart of the matter. She shows real leadership in bringing us to that place and inviting us in. And she’s ultra smart about business practicalities and always has a good solid suggestion when someone is stuck. The Premium Version
People in four different situations will benefit from the Premium version:
- You resonate strongly with Mark and want to work closely with him.
- You know or suspect that to do what you really want to do in business is asking for a profound spiritual transformation or surrender and you need a very strong skillful compassionate presence to help you through it.
- You have a tiger by the tail, meaning your business has the potential to have a very large impact and you want to take it there.
- You need advanced business strategy, perhaps team-building, longer-term strategic planning, you want to jump into the comfortable six-figure range for your business.
You do not have to have an “advanced” business to join this group. You can be in the more beginning stages. Mark will have some specific questions he’ll want to ask you about what you’re working on to discern whether this group or the Core program will be more helpful.
The Premium version includes all of the common elements listed above:

What Else?
Additionally, it includes:
A Small Group of No More than Five
You’ll be in an intimate group of no more than five participants, all of whom went through the application process. (No one can just click “buy”- they have to fit.) You’ll meet once a month for an hour and half with your small group for teaching, healing, coaching and transformation facilitated by Mark Silver.
The group sessions will be recorded for you.
Meeting Time: Third Thursday 1 p.m – 2:30 p.m. Pacific.

Individual Sessions with Mark
Once a month, generally in the first week, you will meet individually for one hour on the phone with Mark. These sessions are for you to get the exact kind of help you need, whether it’s healing, coaching, strategy, or a combination of many things. Each session will be recorded and available only to you.
The first session in January will be an individual session, where you and Mark will review your business assessment, your goals, and come up with your personal map for the next six to 12 months. You will receive a recording of the session.
Laser Sessions When Needed
This is a premium group, we aren’t worried about counting every minute. If you are stuck and need to talk to Mark, you can. If something big comes up between sessions, you can reach him.
The Price
The all-inclusive price for Opening the Moneyflow 2011: Premium with Mark is $6500. Payable in one payment for a $200 discount, or payable in seven payments, $500 now to enroll, and then six monthly payments of $1000 beginning July 1, 2011.
If you apply after June 13, the price will go up to $7500.
All potential participants in the Premium program will submit an application and be interviewed by Mark to make sure of two things, 1. They are a good fit for this level of work, and 2. They won’t be doing themselves financial harm to join the program.
