Since we’ve got this Sacred Selling course coming up, I’ve been thinking a lot about sales, quite naturally. I was reflecting, one morning, on something I had started to do a few years back during conversations with potential clients. I started to do it organically, sincerely, it was never a “tactic.”
It was this: dissuading potential clients from hiring me.
There’s some nuance, and it’s not something always easily accessible in one’s heart, but I think it’s worth exploring. Especially because most of the people I spent time dissuading, ended up hiring me.
About 6 minutes, and well worth it, I think.
Have you ever done this? Or experienced this? What are your thoughts? How does your heart feel about it?
With love,

Every act of business can be an act of love.
This coming Tuesday we start Sacred Selling
I’m really looking forward to helping people with this unnecessarily painful part of business. It can be so much more beautiful, and easy, and effective, without any manipulation or hard sell.
If the sales conversation gives you any trouble or pause, if people who could be really good clients of yours keep saying, “I’ll think about it,” and disappearing, please don’t let yourself continue to struggle with this.
It’s a necessary skill for any business owner, and it’s one of the few that can yield immediate results.
Over the years, I’ve trained thousands of people in this approach. It really does work, and it is a profound healing at the same time.
